In recent years, in Vietnam, in addition to catch shrimp that live in the wild, there were many plantations on their cultivation. As a valuable nutritionally seafood and having a relatively low price of Vietnamese shrimp is gaining in popularity. Shrimp (lat. Caridea), as well as crabs, shellfish are a subtype of the type of arthropods. They are common in freshwater and in the sea in many countries. Shrimp are grown in South-East Asia, called dainty, unlike the Arctic shrimp. In color they are pale green (royal), striped (tiger) or black. In Quang Nam province farmers started shrimp farming since 2005, mainly tiger prawn (Penaeus monodon). In 2007, some owners of fish farms have adopted the experience of breeding white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) from colleagues from neighboring provinces, and has since been very successfully bred them on a large scale in the fields of the province. Currently, Quang Nam Province is the leading province in breeding shrimp on sandy fields, where, under this type of activity devoted to more than 300 hectares, mainly in the counties and Nuythan Thangbin.
